2006 CAMB Awards

Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers Recognizes Contributors

At its December 2006 Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday Celebration, at The Wellshire Inn, CAMB Association President, Jason Berman announced the selection of outstanding contributors for 2006.

In announcing the awards, Mr. Berman noted the incredible efforts and contributions that had been made by each of the recipients during a year that included such noteworthy accomplishments as the passage of the Mortgage Broker Registration Act. This ground breaking legislation was the direct result of CAMB’s relentless pursuit of efforts targeted at protecting the consumer and improving the image of Colorado mortgage brokers. Berman stated, “Every one of these professionals has gone above and beyond in supporting the association and its efforts to assure that Coloradoans not only are protected from unscrupulous actions but also have access to the most professionally delivered mortgage services. This group of people exemplifies the standards that all of us are looking for when we deal with service providers.”

Award Descriptions

President’s Award
The President’s Award is presented annually to the CAMB member that has offered a special contribution to the Association.

Government Relations Award
The Government Relations Award is presented annually to the CAMB member that has offered the most significant contribution to the Government Relations Committee and/or the overall legislative direction of the Association.

Leadership Award
The Leadership Award is presented annually to the CAMB member that has offered the most significant contribution to the Membership of the Association.

Golden Quill of the Year
The Golden Quill Award is presented annually to the CAMB member that has offered the most significant contribution to the Public Relations Committee and/or the overall public relations direction of the Association.

Golden Apple of the Year
The Golden Apple Award is presented annually to the CAMB member that has offered the most significant contribution to the Education Committee and/or the overall educational direction of the Association.

Mortgage Broker of the Year
The Mortgage Broker of the Year is presented annually to the Mortgage Broker that has offered the most significant contribution to the Association.

Wholesale Lender of the Year
The Wholesale Lender of the Year is presented annually to the CAMB member, who is a Wholesale Lender that has offered the most significant contribution to the Association.

Affiliate Company of the Year
The Affiliate Company of the Year is presented annually to the CAMB Affiliate Company, who is not a Wholesale Lender that has offered the most significant contribution to the Association.
